Tomorrow is the big day! I start my new adventure in Korea to live with Dennis for the next nine months. I have everything packed and ready to go, or at least I think I do, with an extra box left behind for my parents to ship later which I know they will be thrilled about. Thanks Mom and Dad! Now I have a hard enough time packing for a weekend trip but this is even worse when you are leaving for a little over 9 months. Also, I have this little hobby where I like to collect clothes and shoes. Some people might call it a problem but I call it retail therapy. The only problem I can see is all my wonderful purchases cannot fit into my two suitcases and one carry-on. I started to go through my stuff and do the one year test. If I haven't worn it for more than a year it stays in Florida. It was sad to part with so many wonderful articles of clothing which I have so many fond memories wearing...tear.
Some of you might be wondering....what are you going to be doing in Korea? Well, that is a great question. As of right now I do not have an exact answer besides having an amazing adventure with the man of my dreams. Some ideas that I have are....english tutor, volunteer with the red cross, and house wife. The plan for now is Dennis making me workout with him everyday early in the morning, learning Korean with Rosetta stone, reading, and revisiting my cooking skills which have been non existent since Dennis left for Korea. All in all, just enjoy my time in a new country and being with Den.
I will leave you with a picture of the before and afters of my packing endeavor.
